NEW FORMULATION Our new Holy Basil Cleansing Gel has a lighter gel texture with added kiwifruit extract, gently cooling and cleansing the skin without stripping your skin of precious natural oils. A soothing non-foaming gel cleanser created with extracts of holy basil, white willow and lemon. Use to purify, balance and rejuvenate all skin types.

Holy Basil Ocimum tenuiflorum
Holy basil, also known as Tulsi is a vital plant in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Valued for its revitalising and protective properties, holy basil essential oil possesses powerful antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties for treating skin irritations such as eczema, small wounds, and sores. In aromatherapy, holy basil is known for its warming and uplifting properties. It helps clear and balance the mind, and restore a sense of vitality and strength during times of stress or fatigue.

Aloe Vera Aloe barbadensis
Aloe gel is traditionally used for its soothing and emollient properties. Known to calm irritated and inflamed skin, the cooling effect of aloe also has an invigorating and refreshing effect. Gels are quickly absorbed and support the absorption of other ingredients deeper into the skin. As a cleanser, Aloe gently cleanses and nourishes the skin without drying, as foaming cleansers can.

White Willow Salix alba
Willow bark extract is a natural source of salicin and antioxidants. Salicin has been shown to soothe skin irritation and calm inflammation while evening out skin tone, plumping skin and even reducing the appearance of wrinkles. A natural exfoliant, salicin may help to reduce the appearance of pores and promote a clear and radiant complexion. 

Kiwifruit Actinidia Chinensis 

Kiwifruit contain enzymes and acids which can help to cleanse pores and maintain a healthy skin pH balance. Kiwifruit are also high in antioxidants including Vitamins C and E which help protect collagen and elastin in the skin. This extract is made from premium Kiwifruit, grown in the Auckland region. The PlantæDerMX® range is sustainably obtained by PlantæXtraction™, Organic Bioactive's proprietary innovative, clean beauty multi-step extraction technology.
