Bergamot Essential Oil
Bergamot has a fresh, sweet and sour scent that is invigorating and uplifting. The essential oil is extracted from the green peel of the nearly ripe fruit of the bitter orange tree. It both uplifting and calming at the same time, easing both anxiety and depression. Bergamot may be used in skincare for oil, blemish-prone skin with its vulnerary and antiseptic effects. In aromatherapy bergamot is known to have an energetic and encouraging effect on those that are melancholic or sluggish. It imbues a brightness and joyfulness that boosts confidence and vitality.
Directions Essential oils are suitable for use in oil burners, diffusers or vaporisers. Simply add a few drops of your chosen essential oil in water or suitable carrier recommended for your diffuser. To create a therapeutic massage oil or nourishing body oil dilute your essential oil in a carrier oil as recommended below.

Generally 1-2% of essential oil diluted in a carrier oil such as jojoba oil or sweet almond oil is considered safe.
