Orange Essential Oil
Orange essential oil is cold pressed or steam distilled from the ripe outer peel of citrus harvested from the sweet orange tree. The aroma of this essential oil is sweet and fresh and is traditionally used to gently uplift and calm states of anxiety, nervousness and melancholy. Cheerful orange brings joy and warmth to both children and adults.
When added to skincare orange can be soothing and regenerative for rough or mature skin. Be sure to use at night or avoid exposure to direct sunlight after application, or alternatively, choose a steam distilled essential oil for your skincare. Known as an equaliser in aromatic blends, add orange to create balance in your natural perfume.
Directions Essential oils are suitable for use in oil burners, diffusers or vaporisers. Simply add a few drops of your chosen essential oil in water or suitable carrier recommended for your diffuser.
