Marshmallow Tea

THE TRADITION

Marshmallow root is traditionally used to soothe inflammatory conditions of the mucous membranes, the lungs, bladder and gastrointestinal tract. Marshmallow is known to soothe painful coughs, urinary tract infections and digestive ulcers.

THE SCIENCE

Marshmallow root contains mucilaginous polysaccharides which soothe irritation and stimulate regeneration of mucous membrane epithelial tissue. 

Directions Infuse 1 teaspoon of your herbal tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes or longer. Drink 1 to 3 cups daily.


Ingredients 100% Marshmallow Root* (Althaea officinalis). *Organic.

All dried herbs are wild crafted or sourced organically when available. Non organic herbs may be used when organic herbs are unavailable.
