Modern Calligraphy for Beginners

Slow down, learn a new skill, and enjoy the process in a relaxed and encouraging calligraphy workshop with Natasha Linskill.
 
In this beginners workshop you will be shown how to use a flexible, fine point nib to create the strokes and shapes which form the foundation of calligraphy before moving onto basic individual letterforms.
 
Natasha will be on hand to provide one-on-one guidance and by the end of the workshop you will be writing beautifully and have all the tools to further develop your new skill at home.

Natasha Linskill, of Linskill Lettering, is a calligrapher based in Whanganui-a-Tara, helping people slow down and rediscover the pleasure of putting pen to paper with mindfulness and intention. Natasha also create hand-lettered pieces, from places cards to custom keepsakes, both in-studio and as live events. Her work is designed to be noticed and treasured long after the celebration has ended.
