A divine, rich textured, chocolatey balm made with organic fair trade cacao butter to soften and nourish skin. With essential oils of cardamom, orange and rose, this balm smells delicious.

Cacao Butter Theobroma cacao

We use organic, fair trade cacao butter supplied to us by the Wellington Chocolate Factory. This delicious chocolatey smelling solid butter is extracted from the cocoa bean and has traditionally been used to soften and improve the appearance of skin and reduce the appearance of scarring and stretch marks. Cocoa butter consists mainly of palmitic, stearic, and oleic acids which exert an emollient effect to help soften and soothe the skin, while also forming a protective film on the surface of skin to increase hydration and prevent evaporation of your skin’s natural moisture by causing buildup of water in the stratum corneum (the uppermost layer of your skin).
