Clary Sage Essential Oil
Clary Sage has a sweet, herbaceous and slightly musky scent. It is both an uplifting and grounding tonic for the nervous system, and has a particular affinity for women. Blended into a carrier oil, Clary Sage may be used to massage the abdomen to sooth and ease menstrual cramps. It has antispasmodic, antidepressant and sedative qualities. It is a uterine tonic and stimulant, therefore promoting healthy menstrual flow, and contraindicated for pregnant women other than to aid childbirth. Clary Sage is inherently calming and strengthening, offering long-lasting tranquility for those that tend to over-think or who are hyper-sensitive.
