Petitgrain Essential Oil
Petitgrain is a fresh, herbaceous and subtly woody essential oil, ideally extracted from the leaves of the bitter orange tree, petitgrain can also be extracted from other citrus trees such as mandarin or lemon. The word petitgrain is derived from the French term for little seed in reference to the unripe fruit from which the oil was originally extracted.
Like neroli and orange, petitgrain offers a comforting, uplifting and revitalising effect to restore emotional harmony. When blended in skincare, petitgrain has a balancing, deodorising and invigorating tonic effect on your skin and is also known to be useful in the treatment of minor blemishes and skin congestion.
