Made from a beautiful porcelain, the Mortar's round, compact design belies how much thought went into its crafting. Look inside, and you'll see score marks on the side of the mortar's bowl, and cross-hatching on the bottom – that extra texture helps to extract more aromatics and flavour components from garlic cloves, woody spices, leafy herbs and more. 

The Pestle is a perfect match for the Mortar, with a curved end that matches the curvature of the Mortar bowl to ensure you can effectively crush and grind your ingredients. The pestle's bamboo construction makes it lightweight in your hand, with a coating that prevents scents and flavours from seeping into the wood.
